A thoughtful first step
We provide respectful, patient-centred women’s health care in a setting where questions are welcomed and decisions are made together.
Your visit starts with a review of your concern, relevant medical history, medications and any factors that may affect your care. An examination may be recommended depending on the reason for your visit.
What your visit may include
- A focused conversation about symptoms, timing and impact on daily life
- A relevant physical examination, with your consent
- Discussion of reasonable treatment, testing, monitoring or referral options
- Clear guidance on follow-up and symptoms that should prompt more urgent care
Seek urgent help when neededCall 911 or go to the nearest emergency department for severe or life-threatening symptoms. A clinic visit is not a substitute for emergency care.
